The photo shows a kangaroo tagged as part of the contraceptive trial. There were at least five roos in the group. My next sighting was 50.

This cant be correct. Date or Canberra location must be wrong. Because I saw in the comments by several people yesterday, on the cull announcement, that no EGKs are left in Canberra. They know better than government and better than ecologists because they actually go out in the reserves, they say. :-)
